Thanks for sharing. It is an impressive csd and it sounds great!

I see that people have posted their projects here, so I thought I'd mention
one I've been working on for a while [checking...10 years or so. Sheesh!]

I've always had a fondness for the "Hammond Sound" -- Booker T., Keith
Emerson, even going back to Cherry Wainer on Oh Boy! -- and when I found
Hans Mikelson's old "Rotor Organ" it made a good start. It wasn't quite
what I wanted, though, so I've steadily developed it over time. I think it
now sounds mighty close to the real thing.

I won't go into detail here, as it's all on my Web page.
Briefly, it has two manuals (ch. 1 & 2) with Drawbars, and can provide
Percussion, Vibrato, Reverb, and of course a "Leslie".
(It's command-line + MIDI only -- no GUI.)

Hope some folks will find it useful.

[I originally tried to submit this via Nabble, but after typing it all in,
I couldn't actually find a 'Submit' button! Is it not actually possible
or am I missing something?]

Pete,

This is great. Loving it. Thanks for making and sharing. The midifile is a nice bonus too. Inspiring,

Pete,

Looking forward to hearing it and playing with it. Keep us posted. Great stuff.
Thanks.

Thanks! Nice to know it's getting use.

If anyone's interested, I've also been trying to recreate the "lost"
Hammond Novachord in Csound. Not sure how close it is to the original,
but I rather like the sounds I'm getting

If you've never heard of the beast -- I hadn't until a year or so ago -- it was
a true polyphonic synthesiser built in 1939! 12 top oscillators with frequency
divison to get 72 notes, and various switchable filters to vary the timbre.
Even had ADSR envelope control!

It was probably clobbered by the War, but I'd guess also by its size, cost,
and complexity. I think there are less than half a dozen in the world still working.
It did get used for movies, though, and it accompanies Vera Lynn on "We'll Meet
Again".

Anyway, if there's interest I can put together a page on my site with the CSD.
