Not sure how close it is to the original, but I rather like the sounds I'm getting If you've never heard of the beast -- I hadn't until a year or so ago -- it was a true polyphonic synthesiser built in 1939! 12 top oscillators with frequency divison to get 72 notes, and various switchable filters to vary the timbre. Even had ADSR envelope control! It was probably clobbered by the War, but I'd guess also by its size, cost, and complexity. I think there are less than half a dozen in the world still working. It did get used for movies, though, and it accompanies Vera Lynn on "We'll Meet Again". Anyway, if there's interest I can put together a page on my site with the CSD. -- Pete -- Csound mailing list Csound@listserv.heanet.ie https://listserv.heanet.ie/cgi-bin/wa?A0=CSOUND Send bugs reports to https://github.com/csound/csound/issues Discussions of bugs and features can be posted here
