either i don't understand the pareq opcode correctly, or it's not behaving
as advertised.

from the manual:

kv -- amount of boost or cut. A value less than 1 is a cut. A value greater 
than 1 is a boost. A value of 1 is a flat response.

but values from 0 to 1 leave the signal unchanged. i can only get boost, no
cut.

could anyone confirm this? thank you.

sorry, simplifying the orchestra to send you an example i realized that the
opcode does work correctly indeed, so the problem must lie somewhere else in
my instrument...
