In my musical youth I was a regular attender at symphony concerts
(Bournemouth Symphony Orcestra -- Constantin Silvestri) and enjoyed many
pieces., Only two cpnposers had the "distinction" of my falling asleep
during a concert while playinf their pieces;one English amd one German.wrt
to the later I really cannot see the point of his maundering depression,
but otrhers seem to think he is the pinicle. Strangely.my musocal hero,
Iannis Xenakis who I only met twice and got him an honori]ly Doctorate,
though he was the fount of music.
Any suggestin sas who these two were?
Aesthetics are so individual...
