There used to be a version of Android Csound that ran HTML5 on an Android device with OS from 4.2 to < 5.0. I cannot find it now.

I think that the CsoundApplication-release.apk from: may be the one that used to work, but now all my devices prior to Android 5.0 say the file is corrupt and will not install. (And I've tried 4+ devices with the older OS's.) FWIW, that file runs fine with HTML5 code in Android 5.0+ devices. I know that when the file was available at: (as Csound6.apk), before the github switch, it ran fine - though I may have tried it only on later devices - I'm not sure. Can anyone help? The current Csound for Android app no longer supports Android 5.0. The earliest version supported is 5.1. You can find some earlier releases of the app here: https://github.com/gogins/csound-extended/releases. The earliest release there is https://github.com/gogins/csound-extended/releases/download/v0.1.0-beta/CsoundApplication-release.apk. That does support Android 5.0. Somewhere in between the earliest one and the latest one, I changed the minimum SDK version and thus the supported version of Android. In fact, I just searched through all the releases, and the most recent one that supports Android 5.0 is https://github.com/gogins/csound-extended/releases/download/v0.1.2/CsoundApplication-release.apk. Thanks for the quick response, Michael. I downloaded and attempted to install both of the files you suggested. (FWIW, github doesn't make it easy to located the .apk's; they're all hidden under "Assets" and "tags" - a bit foreign to me!) Both failed to install, with the message: "There was a problem parsing the package." (This is the common response I've gotten.) I've tried this on four OS4.x devices, including 4.1.1, 4.4.2, and 4.2.2. Could perhaps my version of Chrome have been updated in the meantime, and it be causing the problem? Just to be sure, you are talking about Android, not iPhone or iPad, right? If it's Android, the earliest Android version supported from my repository is 5.0.
