Sure enough, as you predicted, although it didn't seem necessary in the example I posted, when I changed lines in the piece I'm working on things got a little crazy. The instr in that case is stereo, lots of panning and fed into a delay and reverb. Slowly started feeding back and modulating itself in kinda cool ways but I'll save that for a different use some other time. But Clear resolved that, no need to clip.
