| Some of the opcode providers gave me tests and the results so I could
do a bit-for-bit comparison -- notably the FOG opcode. I thought that

I don't know if anyone noticed yet, but in the Winsound utilities section
the convolution analysis tool appears when you want to use the phase vocoder
file info utility.

The change of submission address inadvertently opened up a
spam-route. So from now on mail sent to the maths.ex.ac.uk address
will not be automatically forwarded, but sent to me, so I can filter
out junk. The last message was the first such message I have
forwarded.
I still have to check the bath anti-spam system is OK.

I don't know if I'm understanding this correctly, but the score.srt is
reusable on subsequent executions so that the score doesn't need sorting
again, which is unneccessary if the content hasn't changed. I assume this is
also the case with .csd files?
Personally, I would elect to keep it as a default but include a flag to
override it if necessary.

Subject: [Csnd] schedule not working??
Hello--
Using PPC Csound 3.59:
Given the following attempt to use schedule,
the call to instr 2 does not occur at 8s but at 1s.
p2 (iwhen) seems to always be 0 (equal to p2 of the calling instr).
Is this a bug, or what am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Grant.

And I'm another Csounder with a contribution on this year's SEAMUS AudioClip
concert as well.
Frankly, my contribution has lots of inherent noise which doesn't translate
well to RealAudio I think (If you're in the Boston area next Sunday, you can
check the entire piece out live at a concert I'm putting on. Let me know if
you want more details, I posted an announcement to this list last week).
Thanks,

here is malham & myatt's encoder and decoder orcs for ambisonics,
i hope they doesn't mind. they are taken from their "3-D Sound
Spatialization using Ambisonic Techniques" article from Computer Music

well, i'm trying to do "with-height" enc-decoding in csound. and i will
need some help here. if anyone with better knowledge on maths and
csound can check the following orc i shall be very grateful.
note that i tried to merge both encoding and decoding in only one file,
and it's not fully tested. any advice is gratefully welcome.

Subject: [Csnd] [ot] When does Fall 1999 CMJ come out?

last issue in June - almost 5 months ago now. Not a very "quarterly" quarterly
at this point.
