I'm a Csound newbie, and noting the "underwhelming response" prompts me
to come out of hiding. As a non-programmer, I find the manual to be
somewhat daunting and inscrutable. But as a composer and synth freak,
Csound is too cool not to learn. Want another oscillator? Type one!
Such things exist in Heaven, where I shall never win.

Yes please. I see in the manual, for example, the syntax for the
hetrodyne filter analysis, but I don't know what it is, and I represent
7.3 people who are too shy to ask. It says how to set the size of a
table and its wrap-around point, but I don't know why I should have a
preference for one size table over another. I can probably figure this
stuff out as I re-read and things start to fit together better.
The tutorials and the Amsterdam Collection have helped a lot. It would
be nice to have a few more .orc and .sco files to peruse, I will try to
contribute my own as I go, if anybody cares. Thanks very much.
