BTW... Sorry for the wrong info about real-time on an SGI O2, I have
tested the 8 channel out and it does work in real-time as long as you
set the Audio Panel to the adat optical manualy before hand, so no need
to change any code yet....

Oh... and mess with the buffers... I have not found a good setting for
those yet...
