Hi fellow CSounders,

I'm using csound.ppc for Mac, and I'm trying to get it to read a MIDI file I
have made with Cubase VST, but it doesn't like it; perf says "skipping meta
event type 58 / unrecognized message type 192." It doesn't matter how many
tracks I have in the midi file or how they're numbered, as I have MIDI files
from another sequencer that work fine.

Can anyone tell me whether CSound.ppc & perf require type 0 or type 1 MIDI
files, and if only one over the other, is there a utility which will tell me
what type a file is, and convert it? Or perhaps something else is causing this error?
