I believe that Ed Hall's patches have been applied, but you may want to
ask Nicola  first to be sure .

Not yet. I need another 3-4 hours or so (I'm on something else at
the moment...). But they are there... (no binaries though - I can't
compile them, unless Ed wants to provide them directely).

Re graphics: A picture is worth 10K words -- but only those to describe
the picture.  Hardly any sets of 10K words can be adequately described
with pictures.
