Thanks David,

Again the manual is great. I appreciate all the work it must take to keep it up to date.

Michael-

The version 3.53 release was a complete release only - there were no update files. To update it to 3.55 you have two choices:

1. Throw away the 3.53 manual, download 3.55 file(s) and reprint.

2. Use the update file(s) to update your manual, first to 3.54, then to 3.55, and the new pages and replaceing only the revised pages in each consecutive version.

Be aware that the 3.55 release contains extensive changes - well over half the manual, so it may be easier for you to just repreint the whole thing. I don't anticipate future releases being this large, so you won't always have to replace the entire manual.

To get the 3.54 update files go to http://www.geocities.com/~csoundmanual/archive.htm

The general procedure for maintaing and updating a manual can be found at http://www.geocities.com/~csoundmanual/ then click on "To Update." THe procedure is also contained in the manual on page 22:10, Section 22.5

Hope ths helps.

-David.

David,

Great job on the manual. I was wondering if there is an easy way to
update an existing manual. It would save paper and time. My version is
3.53.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Michael Rhoades
