I had this same problem--it was a bug in Cecilia 2.0 that was fixed in 2.01
(or 2.02? I'm not at my csound machine and can't check) for the PowerMac. You
could open scores but not orchestras--a workaround was to open the .orc in the
score window, then copy it to the orchestra window, and then open the .sco in
the score window. The update fixes the problem.

I haven't seen mail from the Cecilia list for a long time--is it dead?
