Subject	sound in to windows
	I am using Winsound (original and 3.47 beta versions) with Windows95, and am trying to use GEN01 to import a soundfile. It's the amplitude envelope for the endless gliss Shepard tone found in the ACCCI. The file is in .wav format, 16-bit. Problem: I cannot import the file. No matter where I put it, or what I call it, the compiler stops, claiming it can't find the file. Is there some trick to importing sounds with Winsound? Thanks in advance: Mark Ballora

I was running two cards on my WIN95 setup until recently: a TB Tahiti and a Soundblaster clone. I could record from one to the other, i.e., use one for output and the other for input. I never tried using both for output simultaneously, though if I'm not mistaken, software like Samplitude Studio allows concurrent output on multiple cards.
