I would agree that you don't want to make Csound unnecessarily slow,
whether you are working real-time or not.  Apart from speed, I would
like to know what the differences in signal-to-noise ratio are when
using different precisions.  For example, I find reverb far too noisy to
be useful and I wonder if improved precision would improve the noise
floor as well.
