Hello everybody!

I know that this is a bit off topic, but:

A student here has asked me about the usability of a PowerBook 1400 series
for standard MIDI applications and CSounding. Since this computer only has
a single
serial port, we wondered whether anyone around here was using this
computer. Sounds like a potential terminal-software-incompatibility
generator to me, on the commercial MIDI program side ... But since the
price for these doo-dads here is now REALLY tempting, we just gotta know.

Any comments? And what about using it for CSound, even if only for
preliminary, on-the-road work?
