I believe the Moog vocoder had five filters. I assume when you say
that CSound has hundreds that you're referring to the number of
sample bins in pvcross' FFT and reverse transforms. I'm not sure I
see why that would make such a difference, other than to make
CSound's formant shaping more subtle.
