The patch is not very large, but mail programs may do
bad things to diff files by reformatting them. Also,
the "uudecode" is a standard GNU utility (you should
have it on your system), so you can decode it just by
copying theattachment into a separate file and then
running "uudecode " on it; this should produce
the file "patch-3.58-3.gz"

Yes, I know about it, although I prefer the "standard"
Bath version by jpff; most of the time I use Csound and
not hack it (I do not know much about its inner working)
