Greetings:

  In my never-ending quest to make everything run under Linux (!) I've
been trying to get Michael Gogins' latest release of Silence working
with the JDK 1.1.6 and Swing beta3. A lot of stuff works, but I can't
get any of the Nodes classes to load, so I can't apply any
transformations. If anyone else has experienced this problem and has
discovered the cure, please let me know. If more detail is needed please
email me directly.
