Well, as a developer and user I sometimes have to stray into Windows land,
and I am always in a hurry to get back to the MacOS.  So as long as I like it
better, I will continue to develop for Mac.  Even if I have to write every
program I need myself.  Cheaper is one thing, but better is more important! 
And as far as my opinion goes, cheaper is the only thing that Wintel has going
for it (unless you are a commercial developer and the size of the installed
user base makes your eyes light up).  And as long as we in csound land have
all of the platforms covered, there is no reason not to use the one you like
the best.
