Subject[OFF TOPIC] MIDI over TCP/IP?
Hi,

Sorry for the (slightly) off topic, but does anybody know of an app for
win95/NT (and hopefully unix) that allows MIDI to be piped over a
TCP/IP network?

Would like to play csound on one machine from a sequencer on another
without hogging physical MIDI connections/ports.

Surely such a app exists?

Ta,

ac

I asked about this a little while back and Josep M. Comajuncos referred me
to an app called MIDINET at the following URL:

http://inneraktive.e-zone.com/midinet01a.zip

It allows more than one machine to connect and exchange MIDI data. I
think it's only for Win95 although I don't know about NT. I hope this is
at least a start.

I was also wondering if there is anything along these lines that would be
cross-platform, namely Win95, Mac, and Unix.
