thank you for your tremendousely usefull posting!!! This one really was one
of the most informative replies from my last 5 years on the internet (does
this speak for your knowledge or against the effeciency of newsgroups,
maillists etc etc ????:-)))))))

Yes, I do understand this is a developement platform and no digital
soundcard and I dont want to misuse it. On the other hand, I DO need
digital inputs on my PC and if there are problems when you combine the ADI
card with other sound cards, then ADI wins for me BUT has to serve the role
of the others too, somehow.

Oooops, my whole PC runs on SCSI from an Adaptec card! How do those
conflicts show up exactly? Which SCSI cards DO run fine?
