I don't think it is reasonable to flame David for the current state of
affairs with respect the manuals.  The Bath version wasn't very well
maintained for quite a while as far as I can tell, so I think it is only
laudable that there is now (actually since July) an HTML version of
David's PDF manual, which is kept up-to-date.  David has made exactly
clear in messages to this list the origin and rationale of the PDF
manual.  The HTML manual is derived from that and is not a continuation
of the Bath manual.  Since this is all non-paid work, we have to respect
the fact that someone doesn't have the time to include something, such
as the tutorials.
