| Hi!
On the Preferences window, you have two text boxes inside a frame
titled "Process with". The first (labeled as "CSound"), serves only to
specify a Csound DOS Protected Mode executable (in example, the 3.485
version form MIT). CS Visual will attempt to execute any EXE declared
here under protected mode, although being a Win32 program (I think
this is what must be occuring).
In the other text box (labeled as "RT Csound") you should put the
Direct CSound path or any other Win32 EXE. Unfortunately, CS Visual
will not appropiately run Direct CSound because some flags differ from
the RT ones.
We did not have time to test Direct CSound, and for this reason no
support is provided in the current version of the shell... I see this
can be a big limitation. We will include as soon as posible support
for Direct CS.
Please let us know any other suggestion or bug, and thanks to try the
program!
Regards.
