Csound ugens: grain - granular textures (grains taken from random points in soundtable) granule - 4-stream granular synth chords, but many important parameters i- (not k-) rate sndwarp/st - timestretching/repitching, but only i-rate control of grain length/density fof2/fog - timestretching, repitching & effects; full k-rate control IMHO. Sorry, forgot to mention, I am using Csound 3.52 in Win95. I should have been more clear in my first message. I just heard a Barry Truax CD, (Song of Songs), which uses audio files for granular synthesis, such as church bells, human voices, and others. I guess any old sound file will do, but I was wondering which kinds of sound files work best, as I am a complete beginner. I know there's nothing like experimentation, but I was just hoping for a kick start, orcs etc. Wayne Freno On Wed, 3 Mar 1999, rasmus ekman wrote: > There are many programs, you don't mention what system you're on. |
