A while ago I added a section about possible causes for link errors 
in the "adding modules to csound" topic of the winhlp file.
It may or may not help. Did you use the distributed MsDev project 
file (consound.mdp / winsound.mdp)? - I thought they were updated 
for version 3.53 so they compile straight out of the zip.

Didn't know about the MEMDEBUG macro, will update for next
version. Probably more misses like it, but you may get a start.
