An improved version of Silence, not requiring Symantec.itools and featuring
a direct Java interface to Csound, will be posted to my web page either this
weekend or by the end of next weekend. This version will still require the
Java Foundation Classes (Swing), beta 3, as well as JDK 1.1.5 or greater,
but it should be much easier to set up and get working.
