When I first got my computer it worked great.  Then months later I tried it
again and got a pulsing sound, like it was generating a section of sound and
then ouputing it rather then double buffering it.  I turned off full-duplex
mode on the sound cards configuration and that solved the problem.  Go to
settings/control panel/system/device manager/sounds/Creative AWE 64
audio/settings and take the check out of allow full duplex.  This is for
Win95.
