I'm doing another ambient piece in Csound and I need to know some things :

Again, its kind a hard to describe what I want...I'll try :

There are pads running in the background and I want suddenly a harmonic
tone coming up with a feedback that takes
over from the tone....You all know that feedback is mostly unwanted, but I
want that kind of feedback that sounds like
a distinct overtone....Then at a certain moment the feedback "splits" in a
wider stereofield with reverb on it....

I have heard this effect in a track called "Flotsam suspended in Solar
wind", by Voice of Eye.

My questions are :

- How can I create an "overtone" like feedback from a goven sound (either a
synthesized sound or a looping sample)
- How can I do this in such a way that I can handle the feedback as if it
was a seperate sound !!   (this is a difficult one I think)


I'm sorry for being not so clear, but this is what happens when someone is
obsessed by sound experimentation while not
having professional education on the field.
