Word 6 e.t.c. uses special invisible (!) symbols and this is a source of
problems.
But having a little of dexterity it is possible to use Win95's Wordpad or
Notepad. Highly recommended Programmer's File Editor
(http://www.lancs.ac.uk/people/cpaap/pfe/).
