I saw an orc that would track only the blue color in a mandelbrot set which is sort of similar to what you proposed doing with csound rotating the sound as if it was a piece of tape being spliced together but it seems to me that your limited in approximately three ways along that lines of thinking: 1 forward play at > or < sr 2 reverse play at > or < sr 3 invent a new opcode ( and this is where we all smile big) but this does bring to mind an interesting fractally orriented filter which could function in a similar fashion as an lpc. but it would track certain frequency similar to a single band vocode combined with the above . just a idea though, not a polished principal. but the band would be wide enough to get the impression of your initial sound tweaked a bit with convolve along a single band. and then mix wet or dry as out put in the opcode we propose here. craig ____________________________________________________________________ Get free e-mail and a permanent address at http://www.netaddress.com/?N= |
