Just wanted to mention that I've been running Cecilia under Linux for
some time now (I helped a bit with the testing). I'm using tcl 7.6 and
tk 4.2 and Linux kernel 2.0.29.

If anyone has problems setting up Cecilia for Linux, please let me know,
I'll be glad to help.

Also, I've set up SLab on my machine. Very impressive software...

See my Linux soundapps page at

Lots of neat stuff listed there...

well, thanks Dave. I just plugged in Cecilia, and I just looked at
it very briefly. I am using Linux 2.0.23 on a laptop pentium 75 with
XFree 3.1.2, tcl 7.6 and tk4.2. Cecilia does'nt seem to work properly:

1) most of the accelerator keys do not work; the quit on the file
menu do not work (Cecilia just does not quit, you have to SIGTERM
   it)

2) if you set "./" on the modules-3 on the preferences, xcec won't
restart; you'll have to remove .celprefs to be able to restart it

Probably it has something to do with the environment, but I don't
know tcl and it would take me too long to guess...

thanks again,

Nicola
