The call for works:
TAPE MUSIC
Composers are invited to submit tape music (electroacoustic or computer

with special devices for sound diffusion (based on metal trasductors).
New works inspired to the above theme are preferred. They must be no

larger number of pieces) composed specifically for the electroacoustic
tape music medium.
All submissions must be on audio CD or DAT (44.1 Khz) and include short
program notes and curriculum vitae on composer involved.
Technical information may also be included. All submissions for tape
music must be postmarked no later than 15 April 1998.
LIVE PERFORMANCES
Proposal for live performance of electroacoustic music (1 or 2 soloists)
will also be considered. Unfortunately CRM cannot provide or assist with
transportation, lodging or other expenses, only a modest honorarium for
performances can be offered.
All submissions must include a recording of the piece, a complete
description of technical needs and program notes and curricula on
composers/performers.
All submissions for live performances must be postmarked no later than
31 March 1998.
