One more question/suggestion.

Is there a way of activating perf without clicking on the "render"
button?

I would like to control the start of rendering from a MAX patch.

CSound doesn't seem to understand Apple events.
(or my apple scritping is not adequate :)     ).

csound sends an apple evnt of Class	'VRed'
and ID	'Cmmd'
	with a string parameter (which contains the command line)
when launching Perf (so an openDoc event is never sent)

if you can convert this to applescript i would be interested and
appreciated (ive never
used applescript)
