Message written at 13 Aug 1997 15:26:04 +0100 I have fixed a few minor bugs and also updated it for various opcodes introduced some tiem back, as well as the opcodes I have in beta-test here. It is now version 1.05 and is on my server in pub/dream/utilities/Emacs-macros/csound-orc.el Should migrate to Montreal soon. Now a question for all; I have not finished Csoudn 3.47 but it has lots of new code. Would people lik to try it on teh understanding that it is a beta-version? ==John |

Hi, Suppose I have a wav or .au file recorded of my voice, and I assign it as a midi csound instrument. Instead of having the sample play at different pitches depending on the key pressed (and different lengths, longer for lower notes shorter for higher) is it possible to constrain the sample to the original length, or a certain length, for all notes pressed? In other words the pitch would change, but not the length in time of the outgoing sample. I recall seeing an option like that in SoundForge... being a novice to csound I hope someone could explain how it could be done, however slow (non-realtime) it might be ;) Thanks, - lv |
