Hello,

Can anyone point me to information on calculating dynamic sound panning
within an 8-channel speaker matrix?  The speakers would be setup in a rough
circle and I'd like to be able to control dynamic placement within this
space with arbitrary trajectory shapes not just linear transitions or
circular movements around the periphery.

Ideally, I'd like to be able to locate mono sound files but also stereo
files--keeping some aspects of the spread stereo image as the file is
dynamically located in the matrix.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
