Hello Csound experts,

I first learned to use Csound on a clunky old computer, so I never
bothered attempting real-time synthesis with Csound.  Last week, I
upgraded to a computer which I think should be able to handle it, but
I'm getting alot of popping and cracking when I attempt it.  It is
responding to MIDI, and otherwise does exactly what my lame little
.orc's should be doing.  The sound quality is just lousy, though.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this?  Am I just expecting too
much?

I have a Cyrix II 300 w/64 M of ram (or something like that, I'm not a
big hardware guy), and am using Maldanado's version Csound.
