Wow, that's cool. I plan to buy a new faderbox in the next time
anyway, so the simplest solution for my problem will be to buy
a box with such a saving capabilitiy. How many controllers does
the PC1600 have ? I have 16 on my Kawai now, and it's not enough
anymore... I'd like to have 64 (I've seen one from Doepfer that
has 64, but I don't know if it's able to save anything).

No, my Kawai K5000S-faderbox has nothing more than a MIDI-channel
selector and 16 knobs...
