Yes, it does answer up to a point. I think you mean that Exeter will be the
list and bath will be phased out.

However, I would like clear instructions on transferring/subscribing or
whatever.

No I mean the opposite; the Bath list is new and Exeter should be
phased out.

There is no need for any transfer; James sent me a complete list and I
registered them all.  The message I sent earlier gave the various
commands to leave, retrieve old messages etc.

I will be setting up an integrated digest version asap.
