There's a piece by James Tenney called "For Ann (Rising)" that's on his
Selected Works 1961-1969.  This is based on an algorithm that's very
similar to a shepard tone.  The version of this piece was regenerated in
Csound by Tom Erbe at Cal Arts according to Tenney's specifications.  For
