Csound has become a small-but-important tool as part of my job. I regularly
teach a systems-and-signals class to junior-level engineering students. I
use Csound both to generate examples for class (harmonics, phase, aliasing,
Gibbs phenomena, modulation) and to give interested students a way to apply
their knowledge. Music is unfortunately just an avocation, but I found a
way to make Csound part of my vocation.
