Thank you for the Windows95 real-tiem fix. I certainly would not have
found that.
The other errors you noted were ones of which I was already aware,
although one of them had mysteriously got un-fixed!
wrt soundin2 I have it compiled but have not tested it. It does seem
to deal with only a subset of formats, but I might look at it.

At the moment it is not in the internet yet. My friend Riccardo
Bianchini does not have access to personal WEB space of his own. Where
can he upload and in what way?

Subject: 3 digits only???

Hi all...
I never wander about this (although it may sound very silly to most
of you out there) just because I never (I mean... NEVER!) need to handle
score values up to 3 decimal digits (e.g. p4 = 8.011)...
But after reading the "orbital proposal" from Hans Mikelson (one of
my major hobbies is astronomy) I started to think and calculate a real case...
So I made many operations to get the real data I need... and... of
course... all of it was with at least 5 decimal digits...
When I run them through Csound (I have a not so old version... 3.34
:) everything seems to be allright... nothing hangs, and no undesirable
message appeared on the screen... The lovely final msg "0 error in
performance... etc." rised up on the monitor screen... and logically... I
rushed to listen (I don't agree so much with Mikelson orbital sound results,
though I like it ;) and there it was... or not... I must say... I wasn't!!
No sound came out from the speakers... None at all!!!!
I open different wave editors to see what happened, and although the
wave was there (everybody could listen a 240 cps wave... or not? ;)) the
sound was not...
After a while (desarranging my little brain seekin where the problem
was) I decided to duplicate many parameters... so I run a Score Processor
(that Riccardo Bianchini wrote for him and gave to me -thanx Riccardo! ;))
and after save the changes, and try it again... the sound magically
appeared... and the only difference was there... the 8 decimal digits were
reduced by the processor just to 3.
So here is my question: Why that limit? Why can't someone work with
real needed values? At least... for me it is not the same 8.1328 than 8.133...
Hope you understand... ;)
Truly yours
Pablo.
