Hello,
i am new at the csound mailing list and working with csound only a short
time. I have a Pentium PC with CSound95 on it. I want to make
percussion-like sounds with csound (if possible in realtime). I am also
interested in manipulating existing Sound-files and some thing like
playing a natural intstrument, process it and have it played with csound
in another way (pitch-track it an so on).
I have a few problems with csound and hope, anybody with more expeience
can help me:
1. I'd like to run cSound on my PC with Windows NT4.0 in realtime. I
have tried to run csound95 with Parameters -o devaudio, but no output
was on my speakers but csound wrote simply the file "devaudio" onto the
disk. What have I got to do to get csound run in realtime?
2. I have tried to pitch track some wav-files with lpanal. With some it
worked, but with some it occurred the error "unconditioned system". What
is wrong?
Is there, by the way, any more detailed description of this tool than in
the csound manual?
3. Midi-file input doesn't work with some midi-files. Is there a
midi-format wich can't be processed by csound?
