There have been a couple of eror sreported recently which I cannot
reproduce. In searching for them I noticed that there is some
differences between files which I know I have edited; differences
between teh university copy and my master copy. As I am having SAMBA
problems since upgrading to v2.0.0 I am having some difficulty in
ensuring that the PC sources are in line.

Anyway the result is that this weekend I intend doing a check and hope
to resolve the oddities. If anyone understands SAMBA and can explain
why the PC cannot log onto the network I would appreciate it(!) but
after the weekend things should be better.

Errors I cannot reporduce are problems with ^ and with .csoundrc

John-

I don't know that there is bug with .csoundrc. The problem is I don't really
know how to use it.

Csounder,

I have cobbled together a web site with three of my pieces on it. It
includes three .MP3 files created from .WAV files by Csound. All are based
on the Partch tonality diamond, and limit themselves to six note otonality
and utonality scales, with lots of modulations. I use a Macro
Pre-processor, which is also available on the site. Please give them a
listen and let me know what you think. Source code for some of the music is
on the site.

Site Address is: http://pws.prserv.net/music1/

My ISP (IBM, of course) offers only 10mb of file space for web sites, so I
was only able to fit the first 2 1/2 minutes of three songs. I hope to
rotate in new ones every month or so. A million thanks to all Tuning list
and Csound list people who have helped me understand a bit of microtonal
theory, Csound coding techniques, and musical concepts.
