Dear Windows95 Csounder's,
The new version of
VisOrc will be ready for release in a few days. For
those of you not familiar with the program, VisOrc is a Windows95
graphical interface for CSound. Although officialy still in
beta, this new version is far nearer to a finished product than the
first release.
A major new feature is the integration of
a graphical score editor into the interface, Visorc can now create your
ORC, SCO and WAV files without having to switch windows.
I am looking for around 10 people willing
to give their time to testing the software and filing bug
reports. Anyone interested, please contact
me.
Unfortunately, I am unable to manage
a more general release the software due to bandwidth restrictions placed on me
by my ISP. However, if anyone has access to an FTP
server and is willing to mirror the data (about 3MB), I would be happy to

Upload it to 128.243.34.13 anonymous ftp.. put it in incoming and mail me.. then I can move it to either ftp://128.243.34.18/pub/whatever ftp://pc8psyc.psyc.nott.ac.uk/pub/whatever Or if you like..something along the lines of http://pc8psyc.psyc.nott.ac.uk/visorc/whatever.zip and even put up a supporting website if you give me some HTML :) Cheers Matt |
