| Ahem...
Seems all I had to do was increase the buffer size. But there's still a
click when any sound ends.
Also,uh,how do I get Csound (PPC 0.3.1b) to remember option settings
permanently ?
Later.

Sorry to bother everyone on this list with this request, but I can't
find the info (shouldn't these instructions be available as a majordomo
request? Or posted in the Csound FAQs? Or included in the welcome to
Csound message? Do I sound irritated? . . . sorry.) I need to be able to
switch back and forth between digest mode and the full list, so I can go
away for a week at a time without having an infinite amplitude of
messages waiting when I get back. Apparently I'm not the only one who
can't find this info, since I just saw three other requests for the same
thing.

The reason for imgdur is so a maximal sized internal data structure

If it were an invitation to express a wish, here is the wish:
an opcode, or function, which returns the base frequency of a sample.
Something like:
ibas basef sound.aif [,ibeg1,iend1]
Thanks anyway.

Could it beep or emit some other kind of audio signal (i.e. trigger a
wave file) when 'compilation' is finished?

CSound autamaticlaly remembers the last settings. you can also save
"specific" settings by saving current settings and files as a project
file.
the prefs are stored inside csound itself (ideally it should write a pref
file in system folder, oh well..) and theres an option to reset them to
"factory defaults"

You've missed the point...
John didn't have a latest "greatest" Mac to test because he's smart like the rest of us, and
owns a PC...he also knew which one would win, so why bother testing. (I'm only kidding of
course...so stay back you Macheads...!:} )
Love to all,
Dustin

I think maybe this question has been asked recently,
but at the time I was using the DOS version, so I didn't
pay much attention but...
Why can Winsound not write the same wave file twice? Always a "Can't
open..." error.
Also, how do you get back into the main box after compiling a file? I
always get the "Press OK to exit" but can not get back into it, the
"Arguments" dialog keeps coming up.
Thank you

Hi
I for one would really appreciate the dynamic version if that were
possible. How about it, maybe as a different opcode to be used if
necessary?
Happy Easter csounders.
