VLC crashed when I was picking at it's interface tools.

Should I uninstall it or just update it?

Just updating it would be a lot more convenient.

are there any better media players out there besides Windows, VLC and
Winamp?

what is the most documented media player out there(?)
because I'm an audiophile and I want to get the most out of those players.
