Erkki Kurenniemi, the pioneer of Finnish electronic music died last 
night at the age of 75. His works are partly the reason, why I still 
hang around on Csound- and CM-lists.

Hi Matti,

Thank you for reporting that here. I have to say I'm unfamiliar with
him and his work, but I found a number of pieces on YouTube (listening
to "Saharan uni I" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaTayHygiJA
right now and am pretty blown away) and it feels quite a shame to only
come across his work now and under this circumstance.  Really
inspiring and a sad loss.

A true pioneer, great engineer and artist. I hope his writings become
more available.
