Subjectcsound6~ for Windwos
Is there a version of csound6~ for Pd under Windows?
Although the examples are (Csound6_x64/bin/examples/) there the csound6~ is
missing from the /bin folder.
I did post about csound6~ crashing Pd 0.47 in Mac but got no replies to my
original post. I hope someone can help.

Thanks

SubjectRe: csound6~ for Windwos
It is not available at this time because PD is for 32 bit CPU
architecture and Csound for Windows is built for 64 bit CPU
architecture. At least, that was last time I checked. If you find that
PD can now be built for 32 bit CPU architecture on Windows, let me
know and I will include the external in the Windows installer again.

Hi,
I'm getting more than 100% CPU on the pd process when loading csound6~ in Pd
0.47.1, even without loading an scd. Pd freezes when trying to turn off DSP,
sometimes there is no sound coming from the csound6~ object
I am running OSX 10.12.2 but also tried this on an Ubuntu 16.10 machine.

Michael,
There is a project with a 64-bit Pd on github (see link below). It can be
easily compiled in Linux and Mac (which is what I'm familiar with) but it
requires cygwin in order to compile under Windows. I am not a Windows user
so I have no idea howto use cygwin. I need a windows version for a performer
who does not have a Mac or Linux machine. Thanks for the help.

Thanks. I cloned the repository, ran ./autogen.sh, ./configure, make,
and sudo make install. It built and ran, and is for 64 bit CPU
architecture. I can't seem to kill it though...

I will now try to build the Csound external for pd-double.

SubjectRe: csound6~ for Windwos
Thank you for trying. This happens on my laptop. I just tested on a different
computer with the same OSX Sierra and had no issues.
I cannot seem to find the cause of the problem but I will investigate more.
I guess I'm going to have to reinstall the OS.
