today i wanted to use statevar, tried a few times to get a good result but
every time it blows up.
Also the example from the manual blows up. I'm sure i checked and altered
this example a few years ago so at the time it worked.
Can someone please have a look/listen?

The example from the manual worked for me without a blow-up.

well, today the same example does not blow up - yesterday must have been a
bad filter day...
Thanks for testing, all seems to be working.

I do have a question about the band-pass and band-reject filters of
statevar. I am used to be able to set the boundaries in frequency of
band-pass/band-reject filters. Probably i'm lacking some knowledge about the
workings of these kind of filters, so how is this organized in statevar?
The manual page doesn't say.

Statevar has a Q control, which is normally the ratio fc:bw, but I have not
measured it to see if it is exactly that.
